We would like to congratulate our Department Chair, Dr. Amy Cabrera Rasmussen, on being a recipient of the 2024 President's Commission on the Status of Women Award and The President's Award for Outstanding Faculty Achievement.Each year, PCSW recognizes individuals who have demonstrated commitment to the advancement of women and women-identifying individuals. Kathryn Perkins nominated Dr. Cabrera Rasmussen for this award because she believes "Dr. Rasmussen's leadership and tireless dedication to the public good truly uplifts and inspires everyone around her."The President's Awards for Outstanding Faculty Achievement were established with the aim of recognizing and rewarding the sustained efforts of faculty members across our university.
